- Krishna tries once again to convince the Kauravas that a war is not the best idea. He even does so in the form of Vishnu.
- Krishna reveals to Karna that he is the oldest brother of the Pandavas and his birth story
- The armies for both sides start to commence
- Arjuna sees relatives on the other army and goes into despair, but Krishna tells him that he must fight now.
- The fight begins, and Bhishma, the leader of the Kauravas, warns Duryodhana of the doom that awaits them.
- The battle lasts for many days with both armies having good days and bad days.
